Never try to misrepresent what you have to offer. If you have to misrepresent something perhaps you shouldn't be selling it. Also here is a valuable tool I use when talking to someone for the first time. I never approach the conversation with the idea of signing them up at that time. Instead I simply go into it with the idea of making a friend. By doing that there is no pressure on myself having to sell them. Also what you really want to accomplish is to build people's trust. If you do indeed have an excellent business model or products people will eventually be able to see this. Besides you want to help people make an informed intelligent decision. Not something that they will regret later because they rushed into something. If you treat people right you will gain an ally and allies are much more preferable than enemies.
